At HEDI you will find specific counselling services for pregnant women and young families which are offered in doctors' and midwives' practices, clinics, hospitals and authorities. With HEDI, you can quickly find out who to contact with your inquiry.

The easiest way to do this is to send an email to our contact address. We just need some information on the counselling services you provide to complete your registration. At a minimum, you should send us your homepage, contact details and address. Starting in spring 2022, users will be able to enter their counselling services themselves.

The HEDI project consists of three parts: information, communication and coordination. The information sub-project is being funded as a project of the Health Region Göttingen/South Lower Saxony within the framework of the Lower Saxony Healthcare Regions. The communication and coordination parts are funded by the European Social Fund within the framework of the Social Innovation Program.

HEDI is a cooperation between the Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung und Stadtentwicklung Göttingen mbH and aidminutes GmbH. HEDI is run and being further developed by aidminutes GmbH. During the development phase, HEDI is supported scientifically by the Sociological Research Institute Göttingen (SOFI) e. V..

HEDI shows users the counselling and treatment services in their vicinity. The contacts are always assigned appropriately to the topic of an article.

HEDI is currently a local project which is being developed together with the city of Göttingen and the districts of Göttingen and Northeim. The services registered are therefore limited to these areas. More districts will be added later on.

HEDI uses the IP address of your Internet connection to determine an approximate location. IP addresses are numbers that identify individual computers on the Internet. No personal data is collected and no cookies are saved on your computer. We do not send your data to third parties and we delete it directly when you leave the site.

We determine your location using the IP address of your internet connection. This has many advantages and is very safe, but it can be inaccurate sometimes. Please enter your postal code if HEDI shows your location incorrectly.

Our team is working to develop HEDI further on an ongoing basis. Therefore, we look forward to receiving your feedback or suggestions for improvement. Feel free to email us at our contact address.

HEDI will initially be published in German, English, French and Farsi, but the development of other languages is continually evolving. Arabic is already being planned as the next language.

You can report technical errors or problems of any kind at any time to our contact address. If you tell us directly what type of device (phone or computer) you used when using HEDI, we can find and fix the problem faster.

In the summer of 2022, HEDI will be open to midwives from the region. If you would like to participate as a tester before then, please send us an email to our contact address.

Starting in the summer of 2022, HEDI can be used to search for midwives in southern Lower Saxony and to request their services.
